The power of nature that for centuries witnessed how a young love stars a new life means a powerful connection.
After all the weddings I’ve been to, one of the things that I find most fascinating is when a couple declares their mutual love under a big tree. Don’t ask me why, but the power of nature that for centuries witnessed how a young love starts a new life together means a powerful connection, and this melts my heart.
This was the ceremony of Maria and Richard, one of the most beautiful I have seen this past year.
A friend in common, from the US., put us in contact. “My friend Maria is getting married in Spain and she is looking for her wedding photographer, she is going to write to you.” That was the first of a series of messages that made me more and more excited as the wedding day was approaching.
One of the bride’s biggest concerns was to set up the timeline so that there would be enough time and light for family and group portraits. That was one of the most important things. And actually this worked! The Sierra de Córdoba and those incredible views of the mountains, and the sunset were perfect! I have no words.
Their family and friends flew from the US, Indonesia and other corners of the world to accompany the couple, Maria and Richard, who together with their adorable son Skye will never forget the summer of 2017 and their vacations in Spain and Italy. Barcelona, Madrid, Seville, Rome, Positano (oh, God), were just some of the cities they passed through, culminating their trip with the wedding in Cordoba, at Hacienda La Torre.
The wedding production team from Le Jour Du Oui were in charge with organizing and coordinating everything to be perfect.
As a proof, I share with you some of my favourite pictures. It has been a great pleasure to be part of this day and to capture so many beautiful and unique moments. Congratulations dear Maria and Richard!
